Online vs live and How To Adjust

Okay, so although I have played live games (home games and at the casino,) most of my play has come from online. I want to start playing more at the casino and want to know how I should adjust.

From the games I've played online and live, ive noticed that the players online tend to be harder to play against. They have a lot more river bluffing frequencies, and I made a lot more money check, calling the river to induce bluffs. I find it different live and I actually make a lot more folds, obviously depending on the player but mainly there seems to be less bluffing.

The players in the live games have a tighter 4 betting range compared to online, were it is quite standard to 'get it in' with JJ+ and AK.

I am winning, decent online player. What are the main adjustments I should make when playing live games?

The question is almost too broad to answer. I guess, as a start, I'd say you bluff alot less on later streets in live games. You can also bet much fatter for value because calling ranges are so inelastic in live games. And there are plenty of spots that come up in live play where balance goes right out the window.

I now have 4 videos for free that cover this topic if you are interested. Usually it's being more balanced. People aren't as exploitable. Also way up your bankroll. In a lot of live spots you can get away with 15-20 buy-ins. Online I wouldn't really ever go less than 30 and 40-50 is more where I like to be.

He's going from online to live, not the other way around. So turn this post inside out. Be less balanced. Opponents are more exploitable, etc.

    Depolarize your turn betting range.

Check fold rivers if you deem a river value bet to be too thin.

Force people to reveal their hand strengths by drawing out hands till river.

Play as many spots with the fish as you can. Live regs don't exploit you for exploiting the fish. Unlike onine.
