Going to London in March of 2018 looking at options.. I have played in Leicester Square, Hippodrome and the Grosvenor I liked Grosvenor but also wanted to check out some other casinos.. Does Palm Club get games smaller like 5/10? maybe that will be an option..

I dont know if the dates are out yet but sometime around then the Irish poker open will be in Dublin. I keep hearing insane things about how good it is. Might want to keep an eye on it. Im thinking of going to it.

I'd recommend checking out the following twitter accounts for all the bigger rooms and just going where the bigger games are:

https://twitter.com/gcghorseshoe?lang=en (really like this casino but its usually £1/£2, although sometimes a good £1/£3)

Thats about it really (see below for TPB)

IMO The Vic (grosvener/ThePokerRoom) the best on average. £1/£2 and £1/£3 very soft. £2/£5 and £5/£10 very hit and miss; not many of these games run in London. £2/£5 and £5/10 usually run every day at the Vic; the standard is usually very good in reggy games. Thats why I prefer LA!

Palm Beach the game is £5/£10/£20 (mandatory £20 straddle) and is very hit and miss. It's 2 games; 1 main game and 1 must-move (latter is a £5/£10 but inevitably its always 5/10/20). I've only played there twice when I was backed as a one (two???)-off. When its good its very good; when its bad its bad. As you're a tourist you can probably hit and run so just leave if the games bad.

As a rule of thumb, the london games play much deeper than LA (rarely is there a low 100BB cap). This is the only good thing about london really relative to LA.

any questions feel free to shoot

Obviously. But a short hop on a cheap flight. Short for those used to US distances

thanks guys.. We will only be in London for 2 days so not feasible to goto ireland. I wanted to check out dusk to dawn but that is too far north. So I think I will end up at the vic.. I was in what looked like a pretty reg heavy game and I still thought it was good..
