    I’m in for the freeroll.

I’ll listen to your interview podcasts if you decide to put out a couple.

How much of your opinion in the health and trends of poker do you think is based on living in LV? It seems like the overall trend in gaming revenue is growth, but growth spread out across multiple markets. New casinos are getting built across the country, specifically on the east coast. People don’t have to come to Vegas to gamble anymore. When people do come, gambling doesn’t have the novelty advantage in competing with everything else vegas has to offer.

It’s reasonable to expect the growth of poker in other markets would also have a significant influence on skill. Instead of getting a player playing for the first time in a casino or at least the first time since his last trip to Vegas, you might get someone who has hundreds of hours of experience at his local casino. Things like folding more (especially preflop), basic betsizing, and occasionally bluffing are all pretty low hanging fruit as far as cutting loss rates.

Good luck on the challenge! Nice podcast by the way you touched upon all the things I’ve thought about this past year as poker is becoming a tougher game to beat
