New to Crush Live Poker?

My first $100 win in roulette!

I've been wanting to place a bet on roulette tables for the last couple days but I just couldn't pull the trigger.

My strategy is if the board is showing one color 5+ times, I'm going to bet the opposite color.

So, I see this board is 5 reds in a row. I pull out $100 from my pocket and say 4 greens please.

And I put $50 on black. Well, the next roll is red again.

I pull another $100 out and bet all $150 on black. And it hits!

LOL, I'm so happy..I tip the dealer $3 because baller status achieved. LOL

Then, on my next break, I see that table has 8 reds in a row. But I just couldn't do it. I don't like to gamble to be honest.

And sure enough....the next roll is a black.... Should I do this more often?

You're falling for gambler's fallacy. Just because the roulette wheel stops on red 8 times in a row doesn't mean the next one is black. There is still a 49%/49%/1% chance on that next roll of the ball landing in red, black, or green.

(Please don't tell me the odds are incorrect, I do not know nor do I wish to know the actual odds)

    Take 5K to the table. Start with $100 bet when you see your spot. Lose-Bet $300 Lose-Bet 1K Lose-Bet 3.6K Lose-Quit.

You're right, the odds of red/black are still the same but I've been observing the wheels for a week or so. It's very rare to have 6+ one color board. At some point, the color must change. Try to observe it at your casino.

LOL, yea, I probably won't do it often. On the other hand, my casino is having a new poker promotion. $1000 high hands but it has to hold up for 1 hr. Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri, Sat. I'm excited to play on Fri/Sat with high hands. I think more fish will come to play. Let's see how it goes for grinders like me.

I actually want to see a player do this, with 4 bets in a row, we can afford to bet against the same color 10 times in a row, which is pretty rare.

Haha not sure if serious but I’ll bite....... -EV play (-3ish%) every single time you place the bet regardless of the trend you’re observing

It’s rare to see boards go 6+ times because it’s like flipping a coin and getting heads 6x in a row. The seventh toss is still 50% but the overall event happening only occurs 1/128 of the time or whatever the math is.
