AcAs OTB. 2 limp. I open to $25. Nitty winning reg calls from BB. Rest fold.
HU to flop.
(60) Ks9s6s chk, I bet 45, call.
(150) Th chk, I bet 100, call.
(350) 5d chk, I bet 160 trying to get call from Kx.
Is this too thin?

  • Definitely not too thin. Guys call down here all the time with top pair. And I would also bet a spade on the river as well as your opponents think that your bluffing frequency increases because you are continuing to bet the scare card.

What are the effective stacks? If stacks are around $500, then are you calling a river c/r with $170 left? I probably would call (not sure if this is correct, just admitting that I would probably close my eyes and call, because the players in my player pool are so bad), but you did say he was nitty... But if stacks are closer to $1000, then the river is probably a b/f, right?
