Good stuff Don. Was there anything that, had you do it over, you would do differently knowing what you know now?

To subscribers: if you had a chance to swap your life with someone, would it be a guy who straddles to $200 every hand and tanks about putting $10K on a gutshot vs top set or a guy who waits for aces to put his money in good?

Man the only times it gets to me about taking someone's money is when they have their SO with them at the table and you could see the disappointment and anger in their face as the player punts off stacks.

I guess I'm just an A-hole, but I find it 10x more fun to felt someone in front of their girl (sorry, never seen a guy sweating a woman playing).

I think it's justice b/c I would never subject my wife to watching me play live poker.

Thanks for filling in Don, I think an occasional call-in show for PLO stuff would be cool b/c a lot more folks have basic questions that can be answered in a Q&A format. However, if someone calls in and asks what they are doing wrong by shoving every pair they hit, you might want to elaborate further than "Uh...stop doing that."

The call about shoving every pair had to be a troll. I'm glad he didn't spend more time than he did on that guy.

Only time I remember really feeling bad for someone was when Casino was running a BJ promotion, and I was out in the pit back counting. I needed some cover, so I asked this lady how she got X (Gold/Platinum/whatever) players card. Old lady (75+) starts telling a story about how she used to be married to a doctor, but they got divorced after she spent all of his money at the casino. Apparently she settled the divorce and received 100k and was down to $100. I said, "But you have $160 in front of you." She said, "Oh no, I borrowed $200 to come here today."

I would like to see Don do this again as I didn't think it was very good. He was too busy watching the chat and trying to answer questions. He should do it again with no chat box to distract him. I only want to hear about his poker journey and what mistakes he may of made along the way. What his life is like without a job, what he does with his time now, how he studies poker etc.
