Hi Bart/Dave,

You talked vaguely towards Pineapple and Crazy Pineapple. They are typically NLHE variants in which you receive 3 cards instead of 2. In pineapple you fold one before the flop and in crazy pineapple after the flop.

Some casinos (I've seen it at the Tropicana) spread Crazy Pineapple is played as a split pot limit game similar to Omaha8 except you don't have to use both cards that you end up keeping.

We play both of the NLHE variants at our home game, obviously relative strength is different when you get more cards. They are better games than NLHE when you are playing against recreational players as they will still overplay over pairs and it is much easier to crack those hands with 3 cards.
