Flip side of this is that we need to eliminate patterns from our play. And I don't think "breaking up pattern" is great advise for that. We don't want to vary our bet sizes to "break up pattern" it's better to use same size for value bets and bluffs so our opponent can't extract any useful information from pattern. For live tells we don't want to shake our hands when we bluff cause they're shaking when we value bet. We want to have similar, standard betting motion. Pretty simple stuff obviously but I don't think you can call it "breaking up pattern".
