Driving to Vegas this summer. What are my best parking options?

Hey guys and girls. So I'm driving out to Vegas (and eventually socal) this summer for a couple months, and I need some advice from experienced Vegas visitors/locals on how to park most efficiently. I'm planning to stay at Aria initially for about a week, because I'll be with relatives and we are going to split costs. After that I plan to either stay at airbnbs or cheaper strip hotels if I feel like it. With either of these options I'm forced to park my car on or near the strip.

Obviously I'm not penny pinching in general, but if I can save $18 a day or whatever they charge for parking, that would help tons over 2 months.

What's the trick? Is there a different place I could park my car and leave it, while taking some kind of shuttle or walking? Or is there a rewards card I need to get for free parking? If so, what's the fastest way to achieve that? I don't go to Vegas much, so obviously I'm looking for something I could obtain between now and then, or within 1-3 days of arriving. Is parking at rio and taking a shuttle / uber an option for when I'm staying on-strip?

I browsed through some threads here and on 2+2, but it's hard to know the current state of things because a lot of those were last updated a year or so ago, and I know stuff is changing all the time there.

Any help would be much appreciated!

If i went to Vegas i would lose every dime i have in my 401k and everyone at the tables would go about their daily ways not giving a rats ass . I was in Vegas twice way before the poker boom took off. Nothing exciting except for IN and out burger and the food poison i got at southern style breakfast buffet in 2005

You can always park at Rio and take the shuttle, I believe Bally's still has free parking and you can get anywhere in middle of strip pretty easy.

Wynn has free Self parking if you're on that end of the strip.

If Cosmo is still free that looks like a good option. If it isn't... $18 valet or $10 self park per day is annoying but consider the alternatives. Any of them will involve some fee between 0 and ~$15 (?uber) to/from rio. And time. Consider the complete cost looking at free (shuttle, walking) but probably more time waiting or walking, cheap (bus if it exists) but still a fair bit of time, or more expensive (uber) and still some time I just can't imagine any of them come in where I wouldn't just pay the $10 or $18, have more freedom to shop games between casinos, leave bad games early, etc.

I'd park at Planet Hollywood and just walk everywhere. Free parking and a great centralized location on the strip.

I still get pissed when I hear charged for parking. WTF. Wasnt bad enough they had to charge $22 for a small breakfast and $40 for a buffet that was free. Now its $7 an hr to park. Money grubbing assholes.
