• Not sure if this has been mentioned previously, but does anyone else hear a faint beeping noise in the background of The Grind podcasts? Noticed it a few weeks ago and thought it was a one time thing, but I hear it again on this one as well. Btw R…

• iamallin;102368" said:I shove pre. I don't see the point of letting him aND the other guy see a flop when they both have position on you at the spr. Are you check folding on k or a high flops? At spr of 1.5? I thought shoving would only get called …
• I like the flop check followed up with the turn bet. However I would fold to the turn raise. If he wanted to start building a pot with a draw, I think he would've bet the flop.
• Folding and not taking too long to think about it. Without evidence that the BB likes to 3bet/4bet light out of the blinds I don't see how a 5bet or shove is profitable. In east coast $5/$10 games, 4 betting light just doesn't happen often enough …
• beauregard;102351" said:
so why do you criticize hero's OR sizing without having additional info? first: I'm trying to help OP realize how his logic to play a rote, standard way is a poor choice to make. esp from UTG in a …
• So it seems like the majority is on board with the flat preflop, instead of a a 4bet or shove. Results
I ended up flatting preflop and check/shipping the flop.
• Aldune;102195" said:Open size is perfectly standard given stack sizes (omg, make it 35 here, your open is so tiny!!! Seriously guys). No reason to 4b when we don't know if V ever reships worse, let him try to outplay you with his weaker range inste…
• MonadPrime;102193" said:Probably 4! shoving here. We're ahead of AK/TT+ & way ahead if they're 3! AQ/99+, and most players will have alot of trouble folding in these spots, so I doubt we'll fold out worse that often. Interesting, at the time I …

• Krista;99698" said:Not everyone is thinking "what hand can I get value from if I raise with QQ." Some players at 2-5 are just thinking that he bets a J river, I've got QQ so I will raise. I've seen stranger things. I agree not everyone thinks abou…

• Fold. I also like a bet on the turn. There's so many hands you can get value from. A :s: K :s:, A :s: Q :s:, JJ, 99. You really only lose to TT or weirdly played AA. If he's a wizard he should know that he's not getting proper odds to call preflop w…

• TastesLikeBurning;99678" said:JJ makes sense here as part of V2's range. However, since we've disguised our hand strength, we need to call. KK/QQ could be going for thin value here. At first I was thinking he could have KK going for thin value. But…
• 1. Sizing is a little large but if you know he has KK or possibly QQ then I like it since he isn't folding. If he can 3bet AK or other hands I don't like it becuase he's probably folding everything but KK and maybe QQ. 2. 600/750/1050. Half pot, 40…
• NEVERLEARN2;99651" said:Idk how we can call and be ahead. Why would he ch do the turn ever? Idk I think we need to call though cause he's repping such a narrow range. Idk I could be wrong here easily. It didn't make sense to me either that he wou…

• Arenzano;99633" said:When V1 enters / opens the pot from EP is he usually limping or raising? This would be a big determining factor as to whether or not I flat AA from the sb. Limping more often than raising, but it's rare for him to not at least …
• beauregard;99618" said:
I didn't 4bet becuase at $2/$5 a 4bet is AA or KK and it makes it very easy for V2 to play his hand (fold) and like I said in my original post I also thought V1 would fold to a 4bet. I don't get it.…
• If he's limping in from EP with 96 he's not folding on the turn when he flops top pair and continues to have top pair on the turn. I think you played the hand well.
• NEVERLEARN2;99580" said: flop-raising here or sure. Easy spot to get Over pairs vs Over pairs in IMO. plus the few AKcc or maybe even 56cc type hand. If hes a thinking player he could be polarizing his 3! range pre with SCs? Either way I think we n…

• Don't really see a reason for betting flop unless you knew the turn was gonna be a 3  Looks like V either has a combo draw that bricked, or a small suited Ax. I'd bet $200-$250 to try and get called from his Ax hands
